India and Bangladesh will face each other in the finals for the third consecutive year

The India U17 football team, under the guidance of Bengaluru FC reserves coach Bibiano Fernandes, stormed into the SAFF U17 Championship 2025 final with a commanding 3-0 victory over Nepal in the semi-finals. Except for 2018, India has featured in every final of the competition over the past decade, and this will be their ninth appearance.

The Blue Colts showcased dominance in the group stage, finishing as Group B leaders with three wins out of three. Scoring 10 goals and conceding just 2, they looked sharp at both ends of the pitch. Their semi-final display further underlined their strength, as three second-half goals settled the contest decisively.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, arrive at the final in equally impressive form. Unbeaten in the tournament, they topped Group A after victories against hosts Sri Lanka and Nepal. In their semi-final clash, they struck twice early against Pakistan and maintained control to secure a comfortable passage to their third straight final meeting with India.
